Zambia Ranked Third Among World’s Safest Countries

Zambia has been ranked the third safest country in the world and in Africa, according to the 2025 Global Peace Index.
The country also ranks second globally for lowest terrorism threat, placing ahead of nations like France, China, and India in terms of public safety.
This achievement is attributed to Zambia’s political stability, low crime rates, and peaceful transitions of power.
Mauritius and Ghana hold the first and second spots respectively, with Namibia and Morocco completing the top five.
