TWO MOTORCYCLISTS DIE IN CHIPATA ROAD CRASH.

Two motorcyclists have died following a head-on collision on Kalindawalo Road in Chipata, Eastern Province. The accident happened yesterday around 18:00 hours.

The victims have been identified as Innocent Lungu and Shadreck Banda, both residents of Magazine Compound in Chipata. They sustained serious injuries in the crash and were rushed to Chipata Central Hospital where they were pronounced dead upon arrival.

Preliminary investigations indicate that one of the riders swerved in an attempt to avoid a parked vehicle along the road, leading to the collision. Both motorbikes were extensively damaged, and authorities have urged road users to exercise caution to prevent further accidents.
