Nurse Accused of Sexual Assault on Patient.

A shocking case of abuse of authority has come to light at Kanyama West Clinic, where a nurse, Brenda Nyambe, has been accused of sexually assaulting a patient, Jonathan Kampamba, who had gone to the clinic for circumcision.

According to the victim, Nyambe, who was in charge of the VMMC program, undressed and fondled his genitals, leading to a sexual encounter in the operating room. The victim, who was unable to resist, later discovered he had contracted sexually transmitted infections (STIs) including UTI and syphilis.

The incident occurred on April 10, 2024, between 0900hrs and 1000hrs. The victim reported the matter to Kanyama Police Station, and an inquiry file has been opened. A medical report has also been issued, but no arrest has been made yet.
