JETS Fair 2025 ends in Southern province region B with Top 9 Innovators Awarded

‎JETS Fair 2025 ends in Southern province region The 2025 Junior Engineers, Technicians and Scientists (JETS) Fair for Southern Province Region B has officially come to an end at Monze Boarding Secondary School, following three days of innovation, competition, and learning among pupils from across the region.

‎The final day of the fair was marked by excitement and anticipation as learners completed their presentations and judges finalized assessments. Pupils from both primary and secondary schools gathered to reflect on their experiences and interact with fellow participants, while organizers prepared for the closing ceremony that highlighted the creativity and effort shown throughout the event.

‎During the ceremony, the top 9 senior secondary learners with the most outstanding innovations were awarded K1,000 cash, a 100% scholarship from the Zambia Research and Development Centre (ZRDC) to pursue a program of their choice at Information and Communications University, and an opportunity to present their work at the 2025 International Multi-Disciplinary Conference in Lusaka.

‎provincial education officials thanked ZRDC for its continued support and investment in science and technology education. The winning learners will now advance to the Provincial team , where they will represent southern province and compete with other top innovators from across the country.
