ZRDC Participates in the 10th Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, Russia

Vladivostok, Russia – September 3–6, 2025. The Zambia Research and Development Centre (ZRDC) is participating in the 10th Eastern Economic Forum (#EEF2025), held at the Far Eastern Federal University in Vladivostok, Russia.
ZRDC is represented at this prestigious international platform by Dr. Chisala Bwalya, Director for Research and Development, who joins more than 4,500 delegates and media professionals from over 70 countries.
Forum Theme and Focus
The Forum is being held under the theme “The Far East: Cooperation for Peace and Prosperity.” Discussions focus on global economic collaboration, technological innovation, and peacebuilding through sustainable development.
Key Highlights

The opening International Conference reflected on the Lessons of the Great Patriotic War and the Second World War, marking the 80th Anniversary of Victory.

Panels explored Sino-Soviet cooperation, Mongolia’s role in WWII, and international justice through post-war tribunals.

World leaders, including President Vladimir Putin, the Prime Minister of Laos, the Prime Minister of Mongolia, and a high-level delegation from China, are attending the plenary sessions (September 4–5).
