ZNS Chongwe Pays Courtesy Call On CMC Town Clerk

The Zambia National Service -ZNS- Chongwe has paid a courtesy call on Chongwe Municipal Council Town Clerk, Coral C. Mkandawire, as part of efforts to strengthen collaboration and cooperation between the two institutions.

During the meeting, the ZNS Chongwe team welcomed Ms. Mkandawire to Chongwe and expressed its commitment to working closely with the Council in advancing development initiatives within the district.

The team also highlighted the importance of continued collaboration between ZNS and the Council, particularly as the Service is undertaking the construction of the New Chongwe Modern Market.

The project is expected to accommodate approximately one-thousand-seven-hundred traders once completed, providing space for traders and supporting local economic activities in the district.

Speaking during the engagement, the ZNS Chongwe team said, “We are committed to working closely with the Council in advancing development initiatives within the district.”

The courtesy call reaffirmed the shared commitment by ZNS Chongwe and Chongwe Municipal Council to working together in driving sustainable development and improving opportunities for the people of Chongwe.
