ZIMEC 2026 ANNOUNCED TO SPOTLIGHT ZAMBIA’S MINING AND ENERGY SECTORS

Zambia’s Ministry of Mines announced that the Zambia International Mining and Energy Conference (ZIMEC) 2026 will take place in March, focusing on investment, innovation, and sustainable development in the country’s mining and energy sectors.

The conference will attract international investors, mining companies, and energy experts, offering a platform to discuss emerging technologies, market opportunities, and regional cooperation.

Government officials emphasized that ZIMEC 2026 is a critical tool for promoting Zambia’s mineral wealth, renewable energy initiatives, and industrial growth, while providing networking opportunities for global stakeholders.

Industry analysts note that such expos are vital for positioning Zambia as a competitive investment destination, particularly in a global market where energy and mineral resources are increasingly in demand.

The Ministry highlighted that the conference will also include workshops on sustainability, corporate social responsibility, and skills development, ensuring that local communities benefit from sector growth.
