Zambian Filmmakers Gets New Opportunity In Rwanda
Zambian filmmakers are set to benefit from a new partnership between Zambia and Rwanda through film.
National Association of Media Arts (NAMA) Vice President M’faweli Tau Mwambo held discussions with Mashariki Film Festival Chief Executive Officer Senga Tresor on strengthening cooperation between the two countries. The partnership will allow Zambian filmmakers to attend the Mashariki Film Festival in Rwanda this November and submit their films for consideration, said Mwambo.
NAMA says the partnership will create opportunities for Zambian filmmakers to showcase their work, build professional networks, explore new markets and develop co-production projects with Rwandan filmmakers. The association has encouraged local filmmakers to submit their films and take advantage of the opportunity.
