Strengthening Global Academic Ties: ICU Welcomes Dr. Artem V. Davydov from Saint Petersburg State University

The Information and Communications University (ICU) is delighted to welcome Dr. Artem V. Davydov, a distinguished academic from the Russian Federation, currently visiting Zambia as part of an ongoing academic and staff exchange program between ICU and Saint Petersburg State University. Dr. Davydov, who holds a PhD in Linguistics, is an Associate Professor in the Department of African Studies at Saint Petersburg State University—one of Russia's leading institutions of higher learning.

Dr. Davydov’s visit marks a major step in ICU’s efforts to globalize its academic environment and foster meaningful international collaboration. Accompanied by his family, he is in Lusaka to participate in a series of academic and intercultural engagements aimed at enhancing faculty and student exchange, collaborative research, and shared learning experiences between the two institutions.

As part of his program at ICU, Dr. Davydov will participate in joint research projects, deliver academic seminars and guest lectures, and collaborate in curriculum development initiatives. He will also contribute to language and cultural exchange activities, drawing on his deep expertise in linguistics and African studies.
