Strengthening Ancestral Culture as a Path to Planetary Thinking to Be Discussed at the World Public Assembly
Moscow, September 2025
One of the key highlights of the upcoming World Public Assembly will be the round table "Ancestral Culture: Family – Kin – People – Human Race," where participants will explore how ancestral values can strengthen society and shape a just multipolar world.
This platform will address critical challenges of modern society, such as the erosion of cultural and family identity, intergenerational disconnection, and the impact of globalization on human relationships. Participants will emphasize the need to revive ancestral culture as a system of values passed down through generations, forming stable personalities and healthy communities.
“Despite differences in traditions and living conditions, there are unshakable common values embedded in every family and person — a genetic memory that serves as the cultural code of humanity. Strengthening these values is key to forming a person with planetary-level thinking,” said Fanis Nabiullin, family psychologist and member of the Council of Fathers of Tatarstan.
The round table will bring together scientists, genealogists, psychologists, philosophers, and medical experts from Belarus, Bulgaria, Russia, Spain, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan. The session will be moderated by Dr. Larisa Dokuchaeva, Doctor of Philosophy, President of the Academy of Rodology, and Chair of the Council on Ancestral Culture of the World Peoples Assembly.
Participants will discuss topics such as:
-
The role of ancestral culture in shaping personality and society
-
The family’s role in transmitting values and traditions
-
Modern forms of ancestral memory
-
Cultural tools for reviving ancestral traditions
-
How ancestral culture can bridge nations and civilizations
Notable contributors include Prof. Viktor Makarov (Russia), Tatiana Zotova (Uzbekistan), Natseva Stoyana (Bulgaria), Aliya Sagimbayeva (Kazakhstan), and Elena Leontieva (Spain), among other distinguished experts.
A key feature of the event will be an interactive program that allows participants to personally engage with the concept of ancestral culture.
This round table will produce practical recommendations that will feed into the final memorandum of the World Public Assembly, further advancing its mission to build a fair and sustainable global future based on shared values.
