Police Deputy IG Visits Training College, Emphasizes Discipline and Professionalism
Deputy Inspector General of Police Charity Munganga has urged officers at the Zambia Police Training College to uphold high levels of discipline and professionalism in their daily operations.
Munganga, who was on a familiarization tour, stressed that discipline is key to the college's success in training officers. "For the college to succeed in training officers and remain professional, there is need for each and every instructor to uphold discipline," she said.
The visit aimed to assess training standards, understand challenges, and ensure the Zambia Police Service produces competent officers. Munganga also reminded instructors to reflect their training in the officers they mentor.
Division Commander Mubita Nawa highlighted the college's mandate to provide quality training, equipping officers with knowledge, discipline, and professionalism to support the Service's vision and ensure national safety.
The tour included facility inspections and presentations. Officers expressed gratitude for Police Command's support in improving training standards.
