President Hichilema Pays Tribute to Late Former Minister Ackson Sejani

President Hakainde Hichilema has paid tribute to the late Ackson Sejani, a former Cabinet Minister, acknowledging his significant role in the country’s development and efforts to promote national unity.

Speaking during the funeral service held at the Anglican Cathedral of the Holy Cross, President Hichilema described Mr Sejani as a devoted public servant and principled leader who placed the interests of the people above personal gain.

He emphasizes that Mr Sejani’s life offers valuable lessons in patriotism and integrity, urging citizens to emulate his example by prioritizing the nation's progress over individual interests.

The late Mr Sejani, who passed away at the age of 67, held several key positions under the Movement for Multiparty Democracy (MMD) government and was honoured with an official funeral in recognition of his service to Zambia.
