I'M A RELATI0NSHIP WITH THE TEACHER, CONFESSES 15 YEAR OLD KAONGA PUPIL

A pupil aged 15 in an alleged case of a  defilement by a teacher at Kaonga Secondary School has confirmed being in a relationship with the accused.

Deputy Commissioner Southern Province, Moono Namalongo tells Byta FM News that the accused teacher has been arrested.

Namalongo reveals that the girl during an interview at the Police, disclosed that she was in a mutúal relatiònship with the said teacher.

He asserts that the victim also confirmed engagíng in s£xual intercourse once at the residence of the suspect but on the material day, went to the accused's place for tuitions.

He says that the incident occurred on an unknown date but between April 2025 and July 21, 2025, around 15:00 hours, in Kabobola compound.

Namalongo adds that Police received a report from a community member who had observed the victim visiting the suspect’s residence on several occasions.

The community member further reveals that on July 21, 2025, around 14:00 hours he saw the victim enter the suspect's house after which he pursued and requested both individuals to come outside. 

Following this and making his own findings, he demanded that they go to the Police station.

The Southern Province Deputy Commissioner affirms that the suspect will appear in court soon.
