PONTOON TO BE WORKED ON-MUTATI

According to Robert Mwanza ZNBC Reporter, Minister of Works and Supply Felix Mutati says the faulty small pontoon at Kazungula Border crossing will be worked on by mid-November in anticipation of increased traffic and cargo flow during the Christmas period. Mr. Mutati says the two pontoons which are in operation at the Kazungula Border between Zambia and Botswana are sufficient to handle the current low flow of traffic. He told journalists after inspecting the pontoons at the Kazungula Border that the Engineering Services Corporation -ESCO- which manages the pontoons and the Zambia Revenue Authority -ZRA- expect an increased flow of traffic towards Christmas.
