NDOLA MAN ARRESTED FOR KILLING THREE-YEAR-OLD NIECE

A three-year-old child has allegedly been killed by her uncle in Ndola’s Jacaranda Villa area in a tragic incident reported to Jacaranda Villa Police Post on Monday.

Copperbelt Province Police Commanding Officer Mwala Yuyi said the matter was reported by 55-year-old Eveness Nakamba, who alleged that her granddaughter, Janet Mazimba, was murdered by her 38-year-old uncle, Alimon Simukonda.

Mr Yuyi explained that the suspect was reportedly seen lifting the child before forcefully hitting her on the ground, causing her to bleed from the nose and mouth. He added that the suspect has since been apprehended and charged with murder.
