Israel Launches Fresh Strikes on Tehran and Beirut.

Israel has launched fresh airstrikes on Tehran in Iran and Beirut in Lebanon as the conflict in the Middle East enters its seventh day. In response, Iran says it fired missiles toward Tel Aviv, raising fears of further escalation in the region.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it carried out a “broad-scale wave” of strikes on Lebanon’s capital, Beirut. Civilians in the city told reporters they are living in fear as the attacks continue.

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia says it intercepted several drones and missiles linked to the conflict. In Tehran, Israeli warplanes reportedly carried out their 14th wave of strikes on Iran since Saturday.

United States Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said American attacks on Iran could “surge dramatically,” adding that access to the United Kingdom’s Diego Garcia military base would help intensify operations.

However, President Donald Trump said he is not considering sending US troops to Iran, calling it a “waste of time” and claiming that Tehran has “lost everything they can lose.”
At the same time, the first UK-chartered plane carrying citizens evacuated from the Middle East has landed safely at Stansted Airport.
