IRAN SUPREME LEADER KILLED IN AIR STRIKES.

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has been killed in his office during joint air strikes carried out by the United States and Israel, according to Iranian state media.

US President Donald Trump described Khamenei as “one of the most evil people in history” and urged Iranians to “take back their country.” Khamenei was 86 years old and had led Iran for more than three decades.

The Iranian Red Crescent says more than 200 people have been killed across the country since the strikes began. Iranian authorities say at least 108 people died when a girls’ school was hit. Reports also say around 40 senior Iranian officials have been killed, including the head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

In Iran, some people were seen celebrating in the streets, while others gathered to mourn. The Revolutionary Guard has warned that it will launch what it called a devastating response against US bases and Israel.
Iran has also reportedly carried out retaliatory strikes in Dubai, Doha, Bahrain and Kuwait, areas known to host US military bases or support the United States.

The situation remains tense as the region faces an uncertain future.
