ICU Honors Prof. Inga Koryagina for Excellence in Research and Dedication
At the 7th Graduation Ceremony of the Information and Communications University (ICU), Prof. Inga Koryagina was recognized for her unwavering passion and dedication to research, in celebration of her outstanding contributions to advancing knowledge and fostering innovation.
The award was presented to Prof. Koryagina by Ms. Maybe Kalumba, Board Secretary at ICU, as a mark of appreciation for her remarkable impact in the field of research. Her commitment to scholarly excellence continues to inspire both emerging and established researchers globally, reinforcing ICU’s mission to promote research-driven development.
About Prof. Inga Koryagina
Prof. Inga Koryagina is a globally respected scholar and development expert from the Federal Republic of Russia. She currently serves as:
- UNDP Expert for International Development
- Advisor to the State Duma of the Russian Federation
- Director of International Development and Cooperation at ExpertsForDevelopment.ru
She has played a pivotal role in strengthening research cooperation between Africa and Russia, mentoring young scholars, and advising on policy frameworks that enhance innovation systems in developing countries. Her leadership in international academic exchange and dedication to capacity building have significantly elevated ICU’s global research standing.
In addition to her academic and development work, Prof. Koryagina served as the Convener of the International Multi-Disciplinary Conference 2025, jointly hosted by the Zambia Research and Development Center (ZRDC) and the Information and Communications University (ICU). The conference was held in Lusaka, Zambia, at the Mulungushi International Conference Center from 17th to 19th December 2025, under the theme “Fostering Knowledge Sharing and Innovation Competitiveness for Production-Enabled Development.”
