Hichilema Donates K200,000 to Mongu Church, Reaffirms Commitment to Peace.

President Hakainde Hichilema has donated K200,000 to the New Apostolic Church Kapona Congregation in Mongu District and reaffirmed government’s commitment to maintaining peace before, during, and after elections. He highlighted stability as a key pillar for sustaining national development.

President Hichilema made the remarks during a Palm Sunday service attended at the Kapona congregation, where he acknowledged the Church’s role in supporting communities through education and healthcare initiatives. He also pledged roofing materials for a church school project and two additional building developments.

New Apostolic Church Western Province Lead Apostle Elvis Liywalii praised President Hakainde Hichilema for advancing development efforts and promoting unity. Elvis Liywalii emphasized the responsibility of Christians to uphold peace and contribute to a stable national environment.
