GENERAL EDUCATION MINISTER IMPLORES MPONGWE SECONDARY SCGOOL MANAGEMENT TO PUT ITS HOUSE IN ORDER.

Minister of General Education , David Mabumba has urged management at monger Boarding Secondary School on the Compliment to quickly address it's financial challenges.

This follows reports of alleged financial irregularities involving 90 thousand kwacha by the finance department at the school.

Mr. Mabumba , who visited the school today , was also told that only 3 bags of meanie meal had remained to feed more than 6 hundred pupils at the school. He has told school head teacher , Moses Mutakula to immediately put his house in order to avoid a looming riot by the pupils at the school. And General Education Permanent Secretary for Administration, Felix Phiri says the Financial Act Law has been stiffened towards financial mismanagement.

Dr. Phiri has since urged all officers in schools tasked with finances to be familiar with it.
