Emirates Ends 2025 on a High with Five More Global Awards
Dubai, UAE – 10 December 2025
Emirates, which operates daily flights from Harare and Lusaka to Dubai, is ending 2025 on a high note after scooping five more global accolades at the 32nd annual World Travel Awards held in Bahrain.
The latest recognition adds to the airline’s growing list of more than 20 awards received in 2025. The titles celebrate Emirates as a leading global airline brand, while also recognising its multi award-winning inflight entertainment system ice, its First Class onboard experience, First Class Lounges, and Emirates Skywards as the World’s Leading Airline Rewards Programme 2025.

Strong Year of Industry Recognition
In November, Emirates was voted Best Airline in the World for the eighth consecutive year at the ULTRAs Travel Awards, based on votes from Ultratravel’s global network of 1.2 million travellers. At the same event, the airline also won the Airline with the Best Premium Economy Class award, while Sir Tim Clark received a Lifetime Achievement Award for Services to Global Aviation. Aviation Business Middle East also crowned Emirates with the Best First Class of the Year and Airline of the Year awards.
Emirates further received honours at the Forbes Travel Guide Verified Air Travel Awards 2025, where it won Best International Airline, Best International First Class, and Best International Airline Lounge. The airline also picked up the Best Long-Haul Airline title at The Times and The Sunday Times Travel Awards 2025. Sir Tim Clark was additionally recognised by the Wings Club Foundation with the Distinguished Achievement Award.
In September, the airline earned further global recognition at the APEX/IFSA Global EXPO in Long Beach, California, winning the 2026 APEX Best™ Global Entertainment Award for its inflight entertainment system ice, as well as the 2026 APEX WORLD CLASS™ award for overall customer experience and brand excellence.
Earlier in 2025, Emirates was also honoured with Best Long-Haul Airline at The Telegraph Travel Awards, named 2025’s Most Recommended Global Brand by YouGov, and emerged victorious in multiple categories at the Business Traveller Middle East Awards, including Best Airline Worldwide for the 12th consecutive year, Best First Class, Best Premium Economy Class, and Best Airport Lounge in the Middle East.
