ECZ LIFTS NRPUP CAMPAIGN SUSPENSION IN KAPUTA

The Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) has lifted the suspension of campaign activities for the National Reconciliation Party for Unity and Prosperity (NRPUP) in Kaputa Constituency, Kaputa District.

The decision follows confirmation from the Zambia Police Service that the political situation in the area has returned to normal. The Commission has commended police, political party leaders, stakeholders and members of the public for contributing to the restoration of peace and order.

ECZ has urged all political parties, candidates and supporters to conduct peaceful campaigns and adhere to the Electoral Code of Conduct. The Commission says it will continue monitoring campaign activities and take action against any violations of electoral laws.
