CIS Experts to Define Cooperation Vectors at the World Public Assembly

The upcoming World Public Assembly will host a high-level session titled “The Commonwealth of Independent States: Conscious Unity,” creating a platform for dialogue and strategic planning among experts, policymakers, and public figures from across the CIS region.
The session will focus on analyzing the transformation of the CIS, exploring areas of sustainable development, and identifying new vectors for cooperation in a rapidly changing global landscape. Discussions will address key issues shared by all member states, including:
- The relevance of the CIS as a dynamic platform in the 21st century
- Areas where cooperation has advanced from formality to genuine partnership
- The role of the CIS in the evolving balance of global powers
- Strategies for promoting the region’s cultural and humanitarian potential globally
The session will gather representatives of the CIS Executive Committee, leading research institutes, scientific centers, NGOs, and public figures from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
Confirmed speakers include:
- Abdukhalil Gafurzoda, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan in the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly (Tajikistan)
- Alexey Dzermant, Director of the Center for the Study and Development of Continental Integration “Northern Eurasia” (Belarus)
Dzermant emphasized the importance of the dialogue:
“I expect a lot of brainstorming from the work of the World Public Assembly on how to build bridges between countries and peoples, how not to lose ties, but to strengthen them, how to find a common language between different images of the future and worldviews.”
Organizers expect the session to produce concrete proposals aimed at deepening cooperation, strengthening humanitarian and economic ties, and promoting a positive image of the CIS region internationally.

“Awareness of a common path, respect for historical experience, and building a sustainable future together.”
