Atlas Mara branch rebranding advance

ATLAS Mara, the amalgamation of Finance Bank and Bank ABC, will by the
end of July this year finalise the refurbishing and rebranding of its
branch network across the country.
Bank managing director James Koni the merging of two banks has
resulted in creating capacity to provide products and services to
cater for segments of its clients and that the rebranding exercise
will be finalized by end of July.
“We have been refurbishing and rebranding our branch network across
the country, so our customers will come across this change. The
branches are looking great,” Mr Koni said in an interview at the
Copperbelt Agriculture Mining and Trade Expo in Kitwe yesterday.
He said the bank would continue to build on its strong foundation and
ensure that as unified bank it continues to serve its customers better
by offering efficient financial solutions that were simple, relevant
and convenient to the daily needs.
Mr Koni added that recently the bank purchased and rolled out 90 brand
new automated teller machines to reinforce its ATM network thereby
improving service delivery.
He also said the bank had just rolled out a new loan programme which
he said was highly competitive for personal loans ranging from K5000
to K320, 000 with maximum tenor of five years.
On the economic front the bank said it expects a positive trend where
all key economic fundamentals would remain strong for the second half
of 2018.
“We expect the end of the year on a single inflation digit and it is
our hope that the Kwacha will continue to be bullish against major
global currencies,” Mr Koni said.
He said the bank also hoped that the recent surge in copper prices on
the international market would be sustained and that the bank had
every confidence that the Zambian economy would remain stable in
2018.
