Winners of the "Trust and Unity" Grant Contest Announced

Moscow, September 2025 – The Expert Council of the World Peoples Assembly has announced the winners of the inaugural “Trust and Unity” Grant Contest. Six international alliances of Russian and foreign NGOs will receive support to implement projects in children’s diplomacy, education, scientific cooperation, preservation of historical memory, creative practices, and the development of international leadership communities.

Winning Projects

  1. “MIRoKIT cultural and gaming triathlon. International dialogue through culture, play and creativity” – by ANO Center for Creative Initiatives "Inspiration" (Russia) with partners from Germany and Tunisia.

  2. “Children to Children: Learning and speaking Russian” – by the Idea Foundation for Social Activism (Russia) with partners from Armenia and Tajikistan.

  3. International Marathon “Scientific Diplomacy: Uniting the world for cooperation and development” – by ANO Laboratory of Humanitarian Projects (Russia) with partners from India and Serbia.

  4. “Fearless” International Project – by the Community of Women’s Influence (Russia) with partners from Malaysia and Zambia.

  5. “105 Good Deeds for the 105th Anniversary of Russian-Mongolian Relations” – by the Union of Cossack Youth of the Verkhneudinskoye District Cossack Society (Russia) with partners from Mongolia.

  6. “Russia – Union of the Arab Maghreb: We Are Together!” – by the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Russia with partners from Tunisia and Morocco.

Contest Overview

The “Trust and Unity” contest is designed to foster international partnerships, strengthen intercultural dialogue, and promote public diplomacy values. A total of 76 projects from more than 60 countries were submitted for the 2025 edition.

The Expert Council included recognized leaders in public diplomacy, among them:

  • Salaam Fakhri Hannah Altwal (Jordan, UNDP)

  • Dshajani Irina (Austria, Association of the Eurasian Partnership)

  • Sukruti Narayanan (Australia, MEWorld)

  • Sabirov Kabuljon Kasimovich (Uzbekistan, SCO Center for People’s Diplomacy)

  • Igor Khalevinsky (Russia, Association of Russian Diplomats)

  • Victoria Chitungu (Zambia, Livingston State Museum)

  • Svetlana Sharenkova (Bulgaria, Bulgaria-Russia Forum)

Igor Khalevinsky, Chairman of the Expert Council, praised the submissions: “The level of projects presented is very high, and we are pleased with their humanistic orientation, which contributes to the development of all mankind.”

Next Steps

The signing of agreements with winners will take place on September 20, 2025, during the World Public Assembly in Moscow.
