Zambia's Envoy to the US says Constitution making was inclusive

OUTGOING Zambia’s Ambassador to the United States Palan Mulonda says Zambia’s constitution amendment process involved extensive consultation with various sections of society.
Ambassador Mulonda who was speaking at the Center for African Studies at Georgetown University in Washington DC on the theme “Zambia’s governance and constitutional order”, took time to explain the country’s constitutional dispensation.
This is contained in a media release issued by First Secretary for Press and Public Relations Patricia Littiya.
He said that during this year’s August 11th 2016 tripartite elections, Zambians will have the opportunity to answer to a referendum question on whether to adopt the expanded Bill of Rights.
Ambassador Mulonda also engaged in a productive question and answer session with the students who comprised undergraduate, graduate and post graduate.
