ZAM Capital will next year set up a solar Milling Plant in Luangwa District.


Luangwa Acting District Commissioner Jairos Simukoko says land has already been identified and that the milling plant will create about 150 jobs for the local people.
Mr Simukoko  said the plant will also district mealie meal to neighbouring Zimbabwe and Mozambique.
Mr Simukoko  said the plant will also save as ready market for local farmers and help reduce the price of mealie meal.
He said currently the mealie meal in the district was coming from Lusaka.
He said once complete the plant will also serve nearby town such as Nyimba ,Katete and Petauke.
Mr Simukoko  was speaking in an interview with ZNBC News.
