US BEGINS SANCTIONS ON ZAMBIA
According to Zambian Observer,
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has withdrawn its representative in Zambia, Alfredo Baldin.
The IMF does not plan to replace it’s representative in Zambia, technically close the tap help to the country.
IMF which is US based organisation funding many normal functioning economies across the globe did the same to Zimbabwe and Ethiopia but under different circumstances.
This withdrawal is viewed by many as a show of lack of confidence in President Edgar Lungu and possible birth of sanctions on the country especially that it’s leadership is tyrannical.
