Two US Aid Workers Infected With the Ebola Virus in Liberia Recover

It was three weeks ago when doctor Kent Brantly and a fellow aid worker where admitted for having contracted the Ebola virus which was one of the first cases that of an infection would be treated in America. But today according to BBC Africa, the two US aid workers infected with the Ebola virus in Liberia have recovered and have been discharged from hospital, medical officials have said. BBC Africa reports that Dr Kent Brantly, 33, thanked supporters for their prayers at a news conference in Atlanta. Nancy Writebol, 59, was discharged on Tuesday. The two were brought to the US for treatment three weeks ago.
