Two Truck Drivers and Passenger Burned to Death in Masaiti Crash

A fatal accident occurred near Nyenyenzi in Masaiti District, Copperbelt, resulting in the deaths of two truck drivers and a passenger. The incident happened on Tuesday around 19:00 hours on Kabwe Road. The two trucks collided head-on, causing a fire that burnt the vehicles and their occupants to ashes.

According to Copperbelt police commanding officer Pethias Siandenge, the accident involved two trucks with trailers. The drivers and the passenger were unable to be identified due to the severity of the burns. The police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.

The collision is believed to have occurred when one of the trucks failed to keep to its lane, resulting in a head-on impact. The force of the collision caused both vehicles to catch fire, resulting in the tragic deaths of the three individuals.
