Two Dead In A Road Traffic Accident Involving Copperbelt University Students.

Two people have tragically lost their lives following a road traffic accident involving a bus transporting Copperbelt University (CBU) students.
The Copperbelt University, Public Relations Officer, Christabel Malama, confirmed that the bus was carrying 68 people, including approximately 47 CBU students, when the accident occurred at Kafulafuta along the Ndola-Kapiri road.
Ms. Malama states that one of the deceased has been confirmed as a CBU student, while several others sustained injuries in the crash.
She expressed the University's deep sorrow and extended condolences to the families, friends, and the entire CBU community affected by the incident.
Ms. Malama further assured that the University is in close communication with the relevant authorities and is making every effort to provide necessary support to the injured students.
She also urged the University community to stand in solidarity, keeping the bereaved family and the injured students in their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
