Supreme Court Judge Wood Retires

Supreme Court Judge Albert Wood has retired after over 40 years of service in the Judiciary. He was appointed to the Supreme Court bench on January 16, 2014.

Justice Wood has held various leadership roles, including Board Chairperson of the Zambia State Insurance Corporation Limited and Vice Chairman of the Law Association of Zambia. He has also served on the Revenue Appeals Tribunal.
Chief Justice Malila commended Justice Wood for his dedication and leadership, which has enriched the Zambian Judiciary and promoted confidence in the rule of law. Justice Wood's retirement marks the end of an era, but his legacy will continue to inspire confidence in Zambia's legal system.
