RWANDA MTN SCARPS AIRTIME SCRATCH CARDS ON THE MARKET.
The Chief executive officer Mitwa Kaemba Ng’amb MTN Rwanda group, has announced the elimination of airtime scratch cards on the market, this is effective 15th February 2020, MTN Rwanda will no longer sell physical airtime scratch cards to the customers. Airtime will only be purchased and loaded through their digital Electronic recharge services (ERS) or Mobile Money.
The use of Electronic Recharge Services for airtime top up will enable customers to easily instantly efficiently purchase Airtime. In addition to this, the use of ERS will contribute to initiatives such as maintaining a clean environment.
This was contained in the letter dated January 31 ,2020 addressed to all their distinguished customers in Rwanda.
