PAUL MWANZA HONOURED BY PRESIDENT HICHILEMA FOR GLOBAL STRONGMAN ACHIEVEMENTS

Zambia’s Paul Mwanza was yesterday honoured by President Hakainde Hichilema for making history as the first African to be crowned World's Strongest Man.
Mwanza defended his title at the 2025 Arnold’s World Strongest Masters competition in the 105kg category, held in the United States from February 28 to March 2, 2025. He also competed in the 2024 Official Strongman Games World Championship.
A four-time Africa’s Strongest Man and former Arnold Classic Africa Champion, Mwanza has proudly represented Zambia in top international competitions. His success in events such as deadlifts, presses, and heavy endurance contests has brought pride to the nation.
Beyond competing, Mwanza also mentors young athletes, helping grow the strongman sport in Zambia.
His dedication and achievements have rightly earned him this special national recognition.
