Man Drowns in Kalomo River While Fishing
A 27-year-old man, Pradius Mwaanga, from Magrimond compound in Kalomo drowned in the Kalomo River while fishing.
According to Southern Province Police Deputy Commanding Officer, Moono Namalongo, Mwaanga was in a canoe with a friend when it capsized.
Mwaanga unfortunately failed to swim to safety, while his friend managed to swim to shore and alert authorities. The body was later retrieved by local authorities and taken for further procedures.
