Levy Ngoma Expresses Concern Over Cholera Outbreak in Mpulungu

Presidential Special Assistant for Political Affairs, Levy Ngoma, has voiced concern regarding the recent cholera outbreak in Mpulungu District.
Mr. Ngoma described the situation as unfortunate, particularly given President Hakainde Hichilema’s strong commitment to eradicating cholera in the country.
He emphasized that the government remains dedicated to protecting public health and will implement all necessary interventions to control and prevent the further spread of the disease.
Mr. Ngoma made these remarks during a courtesy visit to Mpulungu District Commissioner Geherd Sikazwe at the district administration offices.
Meanwhile, Northern Province Permanent Secretary Bernard Mpundu clarified that no cholera cases have been reported in Mbala District.
