FRA Marketing Assistant Arrested For Uttering False Documents — ACC

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has arrested and charged a Marketing Assistant at the Food Reserve Agency (FRA) Kasama Office for allegedly presenting fake academic credentials and fraudulently obtaining financial benefits.

‎Mike Musukwa, 34, of Newtown in Kasama, has been charged with two counts of uttering false documents and one count of obtaining pecuniary advantage by false pretenses, contrary to the laws of Zambia.

‎According to a statement issued by ACC Head of Corporate Communications Timothy Moono, Musukwa is accused of submitting a forged Grade 12 School Certificate and a fake Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Cavendish University. The offences are said to have occurred between January 1 and December 31, 2014.

‎Using these documents, Musukwa was promoted from his initial position as Data Entry Clerk in Mungwi District to Marketing Assistant, earning a total of K545,338.78 in salary and allowances between 2014 and 2023.

‎The suspect has been released on bond and has entered a plea in court. His trial is scheduled to begin on September 3, 2025.
