Copper queens holds the 4th spot in Africa in the latest FIFA ranking

The Copper Queens have retained their position as the fourth-best women’s football team in Africa and 65th globally, according to the latest FIFA Women’s World Rankings released yesterday.
The update comes after the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco, where Zambia missed out on a semifinal spot. Despite the setback, their consistent performances in recent international fixtures have kept them among the continent’s elite.
Nigeria’s Super Falcons remain Africa’s top-ranked team, sitting 36th in the world after a strong WAFCON campaign. South Africa, the reigning WAFCON champions, also maintained a high continental standing.
