Clerk of the National Assembly, Mr. Roy Ngulube, Dies in Uzbekistan

The National Assembly of Zambia is in mourning following the passing of its Clerk, Mr. Roy Ngulube, who died this evening, 7th April 2025 at 20:35hrs Uzbekistan time, while on official duty attending the 150th Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Assembly in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

The somber announcement was made by Speaker of the National Assembly, Rt Hon Nelly B K Mutti, SC, MP, FAPRA, who was leading the Zambian delegation. She expressed deep shock and grief over the loss of a dedicated civil servant who died in the line of duty.

Mr. Ngulube was a key member of Zambia’s parliamentary administration and had accompanied the delegation to the high-level global parliamentary gathering.
