BODY OF ZAMBIAN TRUCK DRIVER KILLED IN SOUTH AFRICA ARRIVES IN NDOLA

The body of Zambian truck driver Victor Bwalya, who was shot dead in Durban, South Africa, has arrived at Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International Airport in Ndola.

United Truck Drivers and Allied Workers Union of Zambia (UTDAWUZ) President Givers Moonga condemned the killing, describing it as a senseless act and called for a thorough investigation into the incident.

Mr Moonga said the union received the news with shock and sadness, while urging authorities in Zambia and South Africa to strengthen security measures to protect truck drivers operating on regional routes.
