Body of Missing Man Found in Septic Tank in Chikumanino

BODY OF MISSING MAN FOUND IN SEPTIC TANK IN CHIKUMANINO

The Kasama Municipal Council regrets to report the tragic discovery of a deceased male, identified as Mathews Mulenga aged 36, whose body was found on 6th May 2025, in a septic tank at Mulenga and Sons Pub located in the Chikumanino area.

According to preliminary reports, Mr. Mulenga was last seen prior to 30th April 2025. His body was discovered and retrieved in the afternoon by the Kasama Municipal Fire Brigade, led by Sub Officer Mutamba Mulenga.

Relevant authorities have since taken over the scene for further investigation, and the body was handed over to the police and health officials for formal identification processes.

The Kasama Municipal Council wishes to extend its deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of the late Mathews Mulenga during this difficult time. And urged members of the public to remain calm and cooperate with authorities as investigations continue.
