Acc Arrests UTH HR for nepotism and Corruption

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has pinned down a Human Resource and Administration officer at the University Teaching Hospital (UTH) for allegedly using his position to secure employment for his sister at the hospital.
Muyunda Nyambe, 38, who worked under the Zambia National Blood Transfusion Service (ZNBTS) department, has been arrested and charged with six counts of corruption, including abuse of authority, forgery, and uttering false documents.
According to ACC spokesperson Timothy Moono, Nyambe misused his position to unlawfully benefit his sister, Lungowe Nyambe, by facilitating her irregular employment as a Data Entry Clerk at UTH.
Moono further alleged that Nyambe created fake documents to support his sister's employment, including appointment letters and an offer letter attributed to another official.
Nyambe was released on bond and is expected to appear in court soon.
