ZAMBIA'S GOOD REPUTATION
We have worked so hard collectively as a country to build peace. We have spent years building this priceless repetition we have today. But if we are not careful and we don’t handle ourselves well all will go to waste. The good name we have built,the peace we have kept, the unit and love will be destroyed. Every good thing we have done will be overshadowed. We are the peace heaven of Africa so if we happen to temper with this peace all these names will evaporate.
Remember it’s this good repetition that earns us international recommendations for investments, tourism, hosting of international events and the like. Once the good name comes out, many things will stop coming our way. Our economics, social life and politics can be affected. So under what circumstances we must remain peaceful people. We must remain a united nation thus I urge politicians and citizens to be rational. To be calm and collected and level headed, let no one rush into conclusions.
And the politicians shouldn’t fight, they must show maturity. They must put the peoples’ interests’ firs above their personal ones. Zambia is much bigger than them or any other individuals. They shouldn’t start up fires, we refuse confusion, we refuse kelse, and we refuse division and confusion. We are one Zambia and one nation.And we must sustain our good reputation.
