Like a man of God the nation goes on its knees before the almighty God. It seeks him diligently and delights to be called after him [Christian nation]. Every morning before the sun breaks in the east most of its citizens are already on their knees. Thanking God for the very life and breath they have. For they understand it’s not by their mighty, intelligence, education, money or poverty that they are alive but by the grace of God. They praise and worship him in diversity of tongues. The pray that he makes well the day for them and their fellow countrymen.
By the afternoon some knees still go to the ground. To thank God saying, so far so good, what a faithful God we have. By then others would be in situations but among them, some, still praise God. They understand the scripture which says, in all things give thanks to the Lord. The day goes and people are engaged in their own activities. Some intercede praying that God intervenes and exercise mercy on them that are indulging.
In the evening time after super most families do a family prayer and depart for sleep. Some have Bible study then prayer and retire for sleep. Some just sleep like bags of meal-meal without prayer. But thank God some intercede for them.
We are a Christian nation but a lot of wrong doing, sin and short coming still happens within us. There is a lot of repentance we still need to do. Look beer halls are as many as churches. And drinking of alcohol is done by even the children. And the world is looking unto us to present the image of God in words and deeds. Let us change our ways and prove our God to the world by being faithful to him, being peaceful with our neighbors, and developing as a nation because we save a rich and living God.
