the boy who shouted lion! lion!

Cheating is one cheap thing, at one point or another, in one way or another everyone has cheated. The funny thing about cheating is that everyone cheats yet nobody likes to be cheated. I know you have great definitions of cheating. But allow me to define it as not telling the truth. I remember during my primary school, in grade four. We learnt a story titled ‘the boy who shouted lion! Lion! Unfortunately I won’t tell you that beautiful story. Hey people don’t be sad, okay if you want me to tell you the story clap for me. That’s not enough clap louder- louder-louder again.
There was a boy who lived in a village somewhere. This boy liked going into the bush heading cattle. One day whilst in the bush wanted to alarm and fool the village. So he decided to shout loud for rescue,’ lion! Lion! Lion…!!! And everyone in the village rushed into the bush to save the boy but they found no lion. The boy was so happy that indeed he fooled the village. Sometime after that the boy did the same, he shouted help! Help! Lion! Lion! … Once again the village rushed for rescue only to find no lion. The boy was very excited to have fooled them again.
But on this particular day the boy was busy heading. He didn’t even have a plan of fooling a thing suddenly a real lion came. And he shouted lion! Lion! Lion! Help! Help! Help... and no one moved a muscle. Please help! Help! Lion! Lion! He shouted helplessly. The lion chased him until it caught and eat him. Later the village discovered there really was a lion but it was too late.
Too bad this boy died an early death, paying the consequences of cheating. I am warning you stop cheating, like I have told you no one likes to be cheated. See because of cheating the boy had lost everyone’s trust. And his tragic death was a result of not being trusted.
