LCC Builds New Police Facilities to Curb Rising Crime

The Lusaka City Council (LCC) has reaffirmed its commitment to reducing crime in the capital by strengthening crime-prevention measures, including the construction of new police stations funded through the Constituency Development Fund (CDF).

‎LCC Public Relations Manager Chola Mwamba said the ongoing investment in law-enforcement infrastructure reflects the Council’s determination to enhance public safety for both residents and visitors.

‎She disclosed that the latest additions to the city’s policing facilities include the newly constructed Lubwa Police Station in Lusaka Central Constituency and the Mwembeshi Police Post in Matero Constituency.
