Lafarge Holds Health and Safety Day

Joldan Katembula popularly known as JK as well as comedian Victor Chaushi A.K.A Kabova will this year grace the annual LAFARGE sponsored Health and Safety Day. The event which will be held today (Friday 10th) at Chilanga Golf Club which is under the theme , “I Care, I share. I act”. The two performers will be hand to entertain the revelers to a musical experience and proper laughter by Kabova. At the same time the spectators will be engaged in various health activities. Among them will be the Aerobics, Tour of the stands were they will be screening, Blood donation, Blood sugar, Blood Pressure, Weight and Malaria checks. Other participating health activities will be Eye screening, HIV/AIDS Testing, Breast, Cervical and Prostate Cancer screening as well as Oral hygiene. The day which is open to the public who are expected to take part by attending the health event dressed in a health and safety attire. Outstanding individuals at the event will also be awarded.
