ICU League Kicks Off with Excitement and Promise

The Information and Communications University (ICU) is abuzz with excitement as the ICU League, a new football tournament organized by the Students Union under the Sports Minister's department, tips off. The league aims to build a strong team and scout top players to represent ICU at the 2025 Zambia University Sports Association independence games, scheduled to take place this October at the University of Zambia.

According to ICU's Sports Minister, Niven Shamfuti, the league's primary objective is to provide a platform for all university students to participate in football, thereby increasing their chances of representing ICU at the prestigious tournament. The initiative has been well-received by students, with many expressing gratitude to the Students Union for organizing the league.

The league has already brought joy to many players and students who felt left out in previous tournaments. Niven Shamfuti noted, "This tournament has made a lot of players and students happy because now they have the opportunity to present themselves and showcase their skills."

As the ICU League unfolds, the university community is eagerly anticipating the exciting matches and the emergence of new talent. With the league's focus on teamwork and skill development, the future of ICU football indeed looks bright.
