I love Cycling

Encountered on the street for the first time, “Cycling is the best sport after swimming for me. And I would cycle round the country if only it was safe enough to do solo cross-country. But I still do it during the day from town to town and, in my neighborhood, even during late evening hours. Why does it have to be like this when we can have a park made specifically for such sports and many others? What ever happened to street lights and police street and night patrols, to neighborhood watch in communities and to looking out for each other as a community? I don’t understand why we have to live like this even in the 21st century.” Was the taunting mantra of one 42 year old cyclist who apparently cares more about is bicycle than his own car. As he put it, bicycle riding is far much healthier than riding his Pajero car.
“I would love to urge my fellow citizenry to indulge themselves and take on healthy habits such as swimming, cycling, marathon, tennis, badminton, mountain hiking or walking, and a lot of other outdoor sports. It is really confusing to look upon our Zambian population only to notice how we generally appear unhealthy and how we are so full of unhealthy lifestyles and habits.” The Cyclist continued, “I always wish we could learn from westerners or from some Orientals about living life to the full and living it healthily in happiness and fulfillment.”
The Cyclist said all this while still mounting his neatly kept mountain bike. He appeared with good stamina and had a well-built very masculine build-up, probably from spending more time on his bicycle and at other sports than at his dining table. He had a very appealing cycling outfit that would entice anybody to want to join him or want to share his hobby. The cyclist’s outfit was complete and perfectly fit for road/traffic regulations.
After a few minutes of his groceries’ time, he got back on his back and rode off on his bike. But before he did he lastly said, “thanks to my cycling hobby I had to even stop smoking because it was coming in the way. I could not enjoy the sport properly when each time I had to stop for a smoke or for a dry cough.” And he disappeared between traffic.
