Eight Year Old Suwilanji Njobvu Inspires Girls To Take Up Swimming

Eight year old swimmer Suwilanji Njobvu has encouraged young girls in Zambia to take up swimming, describing it as a sport that builds confidence and important like skills.

"Swimming has taught me to be brave and work hard.I want more girls to join and believe in themselves," she said.

Njobvu , who holds several national records in her age category, said her dream is to represent Zambia internationally. "One day I want to fly the Zambian flag on the global stage," she added.

Meanwhile, the Orcas swim club member is sst to compete at the Zambia Swimming union 4th League Gala in Lusaka this weekend.
